Re: how do i undo my conversion to text?

If it's too late to do Undo, your only choices are to edit/correct the
converted text (i.e. make the best out of the situation) or restore an old
backup from File | Open Backup. Hopefully your backup settings would allow
you to find an older pre-conversion backup of the file in question.

RE: how do i undo my conversion to text?

I've used the COPY - PASTE SPECIAL - MULTIPLY option with success in the
past. I don't know what you're working with so I'm not sure if it will help
you but what you do is this. Place a 1 in a blank cell you know has the
general format assigned. Then you copy that cell with the 1 in it. Then
highlight the cells that are now text, right click and choose paste special.
Choose multiply from the Operation section, down on the right hand side in
the middle of the box. This should convert your text back to a number.
Hope it helps...
