I'm sure you're right, that this is a generic Office issue, not a OneNote
issue specifically. I posted it here because a) I wanted Outlook 2007 in
order to use it with OneNote 2007, and b) I know the people here, and had
more confidence in getting a useful answer.

Rick, I haven't tried to fix this beyond trying that one fix. When Office
broke Goldmine, the only way I could be sure that Goldmine would work again
was to uninstall Office 2007. Once I had gotten 2007 off my system, and
Goldmine working again, I had no wish to re-create the problem just to try
to fix it. Also, l really wouldn't have a clue about where to start.
Apparently, it's an ODBC problem, and I don't know much about ODBC.
