I am using OneNote 2007.
How do I import notes made in OneNote 2003 into OnNote 2007?

It should be automatic. If you open a Notebook that contains a 2003
Section file, ON should prompt you to convert it to the latest 2007 format.

Well - the answer at least showed me that it should be possible, so I tried
again and found the solution:
1) Select "File" > "Open backup copy" (my translation from Danish)
2) Locate where you keep the backup copy from OneNote 2003
3) Mark all the files, you are interested in
4) Select "Open" and the notes will be imported.
