| unable to open link a security problem occured I recently upgraded to OneNote 2007 and can no longer open links from it. When I click on a link to my internal network I get a message saying "Unable to Open <URL>. A security problem occured." Links to public sites work just fine, only the internal network links fail. Firefox is my default browser but I tried changing it to IE7 as well with no change in behavior. Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone suggest a solution? Thank you. David |

| RE: disable OneNote URL pre-checking or access installed certificates On further investigation this seems to be a problem where OneNote is doing some checking on the URL before it passes it to the browser. Now since OneNote also cannot seem to access installed client certificates which are required for some of these internal links it gives an error as the URLs are unreachable. Is there a way to disable this behavior perhaps with a reg change? Or a way to allow OneNote to access installed certificates? Thank you for any help. David |
