I have created a couple of tags. I assigned them to a note, but when I use
tags summary, they don't show up???

Sorry for the problems. Can you post some more information like:
Windows XP or Vista? If XP, did you install dekstop search?
Do the "stock" tags show?
Do tags you add in other notebooks work as expected, or is this a problem
with all notebooks?
And where is the notebook stored (on your local hard drive, a network share,
a Sharepoint server)? If it is shared, do others have tags that work?
Last thing: have you installed the service pack for Office 2007 yet?

Hi John,
I have a similar problem -

Environment Windows XP, oneNote 2007. MS search installed, This happens in
all of my local - not shared notebooks. All SPs and updates are current.

I have 4 tags in use
Stock "Important" Star
Stock "To do" check box
Customized "Attendees" Check box
Customized "include in status" star

In the "tags summary" panel; If "show only unchecked Items" is selected,
I usually only get absent attendees. I have to uncheck the box and then
recheck the box to be able to see outstanding to dos. When I hit refresh
results - I have to repeat the procedure to see the refreshed list.
