can I open onenote files on computer without onenote program

I am going overseas and need to access One Note files from a memory stick on
a computer that does not have the One Note program. I would remove the
password protection before backing up the files. Can the files be opened in
outlook?
I am aware that you can send individual files to word and One Note removes
the password but this is time consuming and it would be great just to be able
to source the files from the one note back up or similar. O r is there other
ways to do it from a memory stick please?

Re: can I open onenote files on computer without onenote program

only onenote can view or edit the *.one files.

I suggest you try OneNote Web Exporter ( http://www.codeplex.com/ONWebber
). It's free.

OneNote Web Exporter can export a notebook to web page edition, so you
can view you note with IE

Re: can I open onenote files on computer without onenote program

I tried your suggestion and it worked fantastically well. Thank you ever so
much. the latest update also allows you to open the files in their
categories rather than the flat layout as it suggested in the previous
versions. All round a winner, thanks again
