Passwords for notebook and section groups in ON 2007

I'd like to be able to password-protect entire notebooks and/or sections
groups in OneNote 2007, but I can only find context-menu options to do so for
individual sections.

Has this functionality been left out for a reason or am I missing something?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,
doonyakka

The standard install only works at the individual section level (i.e.
per one file). So, you have to set a password for each file and type a
password for each section as you open it.

Re: Passwords for notebook and section groups in ON 2007

2 residual questions: 1) if you password protect one section, can you still
sync on the Microsoft Sharepoint server function in OfficeLive Basics? 2)
Will the ability to password protect an entire notebook be implemented in the
future?
Thanks, Mitchell
