| Outlook 2003 and IE 7 problems When I am in IE 7 and I click on the read mail button in the task bar I cannot access my outlook email I get an error message that reads "windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". Does any one know what is up with this and how can I access my email while in IE 7? I am running Windows xp. |

| Re: Outlook 2003 and IE 7 problems You probably wanted to post this in one of the Outlook newsgroups. This group is for OneNote. That said, check in IE under Tools | Internet Options | Programs and click Set Programs. Make sure Outlook 2003 is configured to be your default e-mail program. -- -Ben- Ben M.
