| Re: i forgot my password to unlock my personal one note notebook s I DO feel bad for our poor friend here, but this is a feature that I particularly appreciate about OneNote. I have a couple of password protected sections, and they are quite useful. As well, when you first create a password, I remember thinking that the warning ON gives about not forgetting or losing the password is appropriately strong. -Michael "Erik Sojka (MVP)" wrote: > Unfortunately no ;( > > If it were easy for the normal end user to do s, then it is easier for an > attacker to do so as well. > > > > =?Utf-8?B?YW0=?= <am@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in > news:929A70F5-0B63-4B49-AD1E-6C040BFAD1A9@microsoft.com: > > > i forgot my password to unlock my personal one note notebook section. > > Is there a way to reset the password without knowing your old password > > and without losing data? > > > > |
