| How do I rotate pictures in OneNote? I am using OneNote for classes, and I understand how to insert a .pdf file into OneNote, but it comes out sidways (which it isn't in the original file). How can I either get the inserted .pdf file to appear right-side up or how can I rotate the pictures after the file has been inserted? |

| Re: How do I rotate pictures in OneNote? You can "print" to the OneNote printer and make sure that Acrobat or Foxit or whatever you're using to print the PDF isn't set up to do so in landscape. You might have to play around with the print options in the PDF program to get it to print right into OneNote. But the bottom line unfortunately is that you can't rotate images once they are in OneNote. -- Josh Einstein (Tablet PC MVP) Einstein Technologies Tablet Enhancements for Outlook - Try it free: www.tabletoutlook.com "John Adams" <John Adams@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:490B14EA-42FC-46C5-94C2-9A98EC598DB7@microsoft.com... >I am using OneNote for classes, and I understand how to insert a .pdf file > into OneNote, but it comes out sidways (which it isn't in the original > file). > How can I either get the inserted .pdf file to appear right-side up or how > can I rotate the pictures after the file has been inserted? |

Added: A workaround for already existing images would be: - cut the image and paste it into a graphics application, f.e. the great freeware "IrfanView" [1]; - rotate the image; - copy+paste it back into ON. | One note - inserting pdf slides the right way up Hiya, I know you posted this two years ago.... but I've just had the same problem. I insert powerpoint and pdf lectures into one note and the pdf slides I could only get in sideways or upside down. I've been playing around with adobe and I've solved it. In the pdf file, click on print.... then untick the box auto-rotate and centre, then ok. Then lift the file and set it into the one note and insert as printouts... this time it will be the right way around. May be too late to be helpful to you, but might help someone else!
