I was playing around with ON and deleted the default notebooks it came with.
How can I get them back?

Depends on what you mean by "deleted."

If you physically deleted the file, restore it from the Recycle Bin. Then
browse to the restored location and open the notebook again.

If you simply closed the notebook, browse to the old location on the disk
drive and open it. Try checking in C:\Users\John\Documents\OneNote Notebooks
(on my computer - your path should be similar).

Otherwise, a reinstall may be needed to get the file back.

Are you sure you deleted it, or did you just close it? If you deleted you
can reinstall ON. If you just closed it, you can just reopen it to get it
back.

Check your backups.
You may look up the location where the backups are stored by opening the
"Options" dialog from "Tools" in the menu.
