I did a system restore... everything works fine on my computer except for
one thing (see attach)
I have two sync buttons in OneNote, and one of them (the grayed out one) I
cant remove..

any help would be appreciated

Try alt-dragging the broken button off the toolbar, then restart
OneNote. Does that fix it?

in add remove there is a "reset toolbar" and that worked ;)
