| Small Business 2007 Office Upgrade CD's and Business Manager/Outlo Don'y know what happend to my post...However, yesterday installed my Upgrade. First CD install went fine- This was the "Small Business" CD. then did the 2nd CD which was the Business manager for Outlook 2007. Did restart. Nothing is showing anywhere for Business Manager OR Outlook 2007. This was an UPGRADE, not a trial verison. Thinking maybe I must still uninstall all previous verisons of Office (2003) AND Outlook 2003? Problem is: Can't find anything referring to Business manager in Add/Remove programs so does that mean it didn't install? Don't know how I would uninstall Business manager if I can't find it anywhere... Or can i just install again? I am not that great about figuring out what to do. Thanks for any help. |

| Re: Small Business 2007 Office Upgrade CD's and Business Manager/Outlo The Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager Add-in from CD#2 would be looking for Outlook 2007 to be the active version of Outlook (you can't use two Outlook versions). If you retained Office 2003 then from Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel bring up the Microsoft Office 2003 edition and in the advanced features, set Outlook 2003, and if listed the Outlook Business Contact Manager add-in, to 'Not available', complete that run then restart the PC and choose the Microsoft Office 2007 choice and set Outlook 2007 to 'run from my PC' status and then install the 2007 Outlook Business Contact Manager. ================= <<"computerchallengedcc" <computerchallengedcc@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B52681A0-3185-4285-BFC5-2709EA430AE0@microsoft.com... | RE: Small Business 2007 Office Upgrade CD's and Business Manager/Outlo I do not follow clearly what you tell me I need to do. i got as far as the advanced features to customize, saw outlook 2003, but not Outlook 2007 or the Business Contact manger. Can you please explain again exactly what I need to do maybe in different terms/steps? Thank you so much "computerchallengedcc" wrote: > Don'y know what happend to my post...However, yesterday installed my Upgrade. > First CD install went fine- This was the "Small Business" CD. then did the > 2nd CD which was the Business manager for Outlook 2007. | Re: Small Business 2007 Office Upgrade CD's and Business Manager/Outlo 1. Backup the files on your PC (just in case <g>) 2. Through Start=>All Programs=>Accessories=>System Tools set a System Restore Point 3. In Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel locate your MS Office 2003 choice; select [Change] then: - choose (o) Add or Remove Features, - select [x] Choose advanced customization of Applications (which will turn on the 'Next' button - Click the icon next to Microsoft Office Outlook and set the status to 'Not Available' then complete the update. 4. Look in Add/Remove Programs for "Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003" If listed, uninstall it. 5. Restart your PC. 6. In Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel locate your MS Office 2007 choice, go to 'Change' and 'Add or Remove Features' and on the next screen select the icon next to 'Microsoft Office Outlook' and set it to 'Run from my computer' and then 'continue' to complete the setup run. 7. Restart the PC. 8. Start then close Outlook 2007. 9. Insert Office 2007 CD#2 and install the Office 2007 Outlook Business Contact Manager Add in. ================== <<"computerchallengedcc" <computerchallengedcc@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:DD4AC096-40C0-4E71-A011-0A8D8C484828@microsoft.com...
