US International keyboard, Office 2007 and Vista

Now that I have transferred to Vista Home Premium, I cannot type accented
letters using the International keyboard. For example, an accented a should
be achieved with Alt+a. This does not work. How do I fix this?

RE: US International keyboard, Office 2007 and Vista

Noone responded to this but, if anyone is interested, I h ave discovered the
problem: I had installed International Keybaord but did not have it as the
default when I thought it was. Simple, once you know how! ;-0

It would seem you had set this up as a shortcut in Word?
You need to do the same on your new computer.
Insert | Symbol; find the accented letter; set the shortcut you need
Should work in all Office apps
best wishes
