Office Suite 2007 upgrade from 2003

I just bought a new Lenovo N100 laptop with Vista. This replaces an old
T-30, on which I have been running Office Standard Edition 2003 (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook). I am willing to upgrade to Office Standard 2007.
To do so, will I first have to install 2003 from the original disk? If so,
will I also have to get all of the upgrades and patches installed before I
can upgrade to 2007?

Re: Office Suite 2007 upgrade from 2003

Hi Mike,

As long as you have the original MS Office 2003 Standard Edition product CD that will be suffcient, without installing it, to allow
you to use the MS Office 2007 product suite of your choice (doesn't have to be 'standard' again) upgrade version to install.
