| Excel and Access 2003: Macros and Local Admin rights 2003 Domain environment here. Window XP pro with latest service pack. Office 2003 pro with latest patches. When I give a user local admin rights he is able to run macros from excel and access just fine, but when I take away the right. The user is not able to run macros. When excel or access is lauched, it tries to install compents continuously although it's a full install. If I give the user local admin right, all problem goes away. Tried everything from giving the user full rights to Program files folder, shared component folder, office registry, and re-installed VBA security patch .. I thought it was corrupted profile but whoever logs into the machine experience the same symptom. This was causes by recent patches that we pushed out, but I'm not sure what actually caused it. Thank you. |
