how can i transfer a "locked" trial-only M. Office file to Works?

i have a new computer(dec 2006) with office 2003 and files saved on that
program. I received notice 2/28/07 that this file was "trial only" and my
saved files are frozen. How can I copy and paste them to Works?

There is not a way that I am aware of since you would in essence need to export them from the now expired trial and that is not possible in reduced functionality mode.

Well you would need to uninstall the Office 2003 trial. Download and
install the Office 2007 trial, and Export your files before the 2007
trial expires.
