Trace Precendent - Excel 2002

Hi I have a user running Excel 2002 on XP Pro, and she is trying to run a
trace precendent. When she clicks the button, the arrow does not show. In
the options menu under view, the objects are set to view all.
I have done a detect and repair of office but its still not working. Any
ideas?
