2007 beta upgrade

I have been running the Beta version of office 2007 for a few months now and
wish to know how to upgrade to the "full monty".

Was there a deal for us poor Beta users to upgrade or do we have to go and
buy the upgrade version from our local store?

Re: 2007 beta upgrade

The Beta does not count as a qualifying product towards upgrade, but you
might already own another Microsoft product that does qualify. See
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/su...754511033.aspx for upgrade
pricing and qualifying product information, except that Office XP for
Students and Teachers and Office 2003 Students and Teachers Edition are
NOT qualifying products for upgrade to any Office 2007 edition. If you
don't own a qualifying product, then you'll need to purchase a full version.

Re: 2007 beta upgrade

Beta users were forewarned beforehand to use it at your own risk. And since
there were millions of downloads (literally), do you think Microsoft will
give all of them a freebie or even a substantial discount?

Last I recall she acquired a Mac, and went over there.

Re: 2007 beta upgrade

Ahhh, thanks. I don't hang out in the Mac newsgroup. Every time I see
the Crabby Office Lady column on the OfficeOnline website, I think of
Miss PT and chuckle to myself... if MS only knew...
