| Upgrade from Office 2000 on XP to Office 2007 on a DIFFERENT Compu I'm currently running Office 2000 Pro on an XP machine. I'm replacing that machine with a new Vista computer. I assume I qualify for the upgrade pricing for the new Office 2007. My questions are: 1) Will the Office 2007 upgrade version install properly on my new Vista computer even though Office 2000 is not installed on the new computer? 2) Of course I have the original Office 2000 disks, so will the Office 2007 install wizard settle for just looking at the disk and not require me actually install the old Office 2000 on my new Vista machine? Thanks for the help! |

| Re: Upgrade from Office 2000 on XP to Office 2007 on a DIFFERENT Compu Hi Alan, The Office 2007 upgrade retail product should recognize the Office 2000 Pro CD as a qualifier during Office 2007 setup without needing to install the older version. ==================== <<"Alan D" <AlanD@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3CF06A73-9E90-47C0-8009-D19544B2867B@microsoft.com...
