Excel - problem writing formulas

I've been using Excel daily in my job for ten years and am highly
experienced, but I seem to have made some setting change recently that I
can't figure out. If I try to enter a formula in Sheet1 (say, in cell A1)
and link it to a cell in Sheet2, the formula places itself in cell A1 on
Sheet2, not Sheet1. I'm sure this must be a setting I've made. Does anyone
have any ideas? Thanks.

Re: Excel - problem writing formulas

Sorry, I don't know the answer to this. But you might try posting
directly to the Excel group where there's a better chance of getting
an answer, if you don't get one here.

Good luck...
