"Help Files" do not open beyond Table of Contents

I have Office Enterprise 2007 and none of the programs' Help Files will open.
The Table of Contents comes up, but none of the individual questions I click
on respond. I have tried both "on-line" and from my local computer. I
uninstalled and re-installed everything, and they still do not work. Thank
you.
