Please can anyone help me. The Times New Roam font has a diffeent look
to it, it looks as though another fornt has replaced it the letters are
much fancier and almost look like script (the italics button is off). I
have installed and now uninstalled some new mathematical software but it
wont change back.

Check your operating system, Office just uses what is installed.
