OneNote needs to include a feature similar to the traditional office
'tracking changes' where you can view the date and time of additions and/or
changes.

It will allow the product to be utilized further as a day to day task and
management product.

This is in OneNote 2010. It's called "versioning" and you can go to the Share tab and click the Page Versions button to see versions of pages in a section. Give it a try!

Can't tell if I am double posting.

This is included in OneNote 2010. If you click the Share Tab you can see
the Page Versions button. You can select to see previous versions of pages
from there.
