2007 Office Pro wants to do a windows reinstaller with everything.

After I spoke w/a MS employee, they suggested that I reinstall MS Office Pro
2007. I did, and everything works OK, but every time I open up a new Office
Pro 2007 program the program wants to do a Windows Installer function for
about a minute. I know that I need to delete a file or two(?), but I don't
know what file it is and where it is. Any help would be appreciated. I'm
working on a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6883 (64 bit) machine running Vista.

A windows installer function? It might be corrupted or there is an
office addon that is not installing right. Or, it could be that you
haven't activated the office yet.

Go to your office orb, go to options and go to addons. Disable all of
those you see.
Log off, log back in, see if it is fixed :D
