pictures in power point are in scrap what can I do

somehow my pictures in power point got put into scrap, what can I do as I
want to put them on DVD as they are of my husbands funeral

What exactly do you mean by "put into scrap"?

Also what version of PowerPoint are you using?

Just a guess, but someone may have attempted to "copy" the image while
Powerpoint was Open, an then pasted the contents onto the desktop
resulting in the "scrap". It would be much better to have the person who
created the PowerPoint just give you the images that were used to create
the Power Point on a DVD.
