Cannot find basic11n.msi

After my computer downloaded an update two days ago, my computer restarted,
and now when I try to open Excel, I receive an error message that says 'The
feature you are trying to use requires a CD-Rom that is not available. Insert
Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003 disk'. When I cancel, it says it cannot
find the location of basic11n.msi. I'm traveling now and don't have my disks
and I haven't found a solution after doing a number of searches. Its odd
that I don't have this problem with Word or Outlook.

Can someone tell me what I have to do?

Re: Cannot find basic11n.msi

Sounds like Excel is trying to load an add-in that didn't get installed
as "run all from hard drive". You'll need the CD to install the optional
addins.
