Re-install Office 2007 Word

My Word keeps getting flackier and flackier. Latest issue is I can't move
the cursor within the doc using the mouse -- just the keyboard.

Decided it was best to just re-install from the original CD. When I try I
get an "Set-up Experienced a Problem (paraphrasing)" and it shuts down.
TRied to uninstall first, but there is no uninstall oprion available under
the Control Panel/Programs.

How do I get a fresh, working copy of Office on my computer? I don't mind
reinstall all the apps. Excel is acting odd too, but not as bad as Word.

Thanks you in advance!

Do you have Windows Vista? If yes, then click on the "Fix this problem"
link at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=940791 "How do I fix the
problem that I experience after I install an automatic update for Word
2007 on a Windows Vista-based computer?"

RE: Re-install Office 2007 Word

If you go into Add/Remove Programs, there's no option to remove Office? You
should also be able to run setup from the CD to force it to uninstall. Or
you may have to use the CD to install (even though its already installed),
then do an uninstall once it recognizes its installed. Then you can
reinstall. I'd also download ccleaner and have it clean your registry before
reinstalling.
