Prompted everytime I close Word to save to Normal.dot.

Annoying prompt to save changes to Normal.dot global template everytime I
close Word. I found article Q291352 and followed the solutions. I have
"Prompt to save Normal template" unchecked. I tried removing add-ins from
the Office Start Up Folders but my Office Startup folder is empty so there
was nothing to remove. And the third solution had something to do with
removing Word auto macros. You have to open the RUN window which I cannot
even find on Vista! So that was a dead end also.
When I open Outlook I get a message in the Small Business Custom Manager
Window (whatever that is) that says, "Some files added to Outlook contain
Macros. Click enable Macros when prompted to ensure that Custom Manager
functions. I have never been prompted to enable Macros. Are Macros causing
my problem or is it just a coincidence?
