Microsoft Word does not function

I had MS Office 2003 and recently purchased Office 2007 on ebay thinking that
I would be getting a disc but instead I received a link to download. When I
try to open a document on Word, I go to the page and click on the logo in the
upper left corner or click anywhere on the page and I get a bar on top that
reads "Document1 - Microsoft Word non-commercial use" and get the hourglass.
If I click on the 'X', I get the message that the program is not responding,
send error report, etc, etc. Over and over again.
If I try to save a new document, I get the same situation as above. How do
I access my documents or produce new documents?

The only place you can LEGALLY download Office 2007 is either MSDN, Technet
or the MS Office website itself.
I suggest that you report this vendor to EBay and attempt to get your money
back.
If they were a legitimate vendor you would have received a DVD and product
key.
