| trying to activate word on a new laptop I purchased Microsoft Office Word 2007 (home and student) only a year ago for my laptop. I'm now replacing that laptop and would like to use it on the new one, however, it will not accept the license number that was emailed to me. Any ideas? Thanks so much! |

| Re: trying to activate word on a new laptop If your new laptop came with a free trial version of Office 2007 preinstalled by the computer manufacturer, then you need to uninstall the free trial version and its activation assistant before you install your purchased Office 2007 Home and Student Edition.
