Put the installation CD in the drive, open My computer and copy all the files from the CD to the USB drive. Use safe remove to remove the USB drive (ensures all files have been copied.) Take the USB drive to your netbook and plug in the USB drive. Install from there. Most will recommend that you purchase an external USB DVD drive which will come in useful in the future for reinstalls and/or data backup. Not too expensive. |
