| How to make my Office genuine? Hi: It turns out that my Office suite isn't genuine, and now I want to buy a proper one from Amazon and I'm just wondering: do I need to uninstall the old suite before I install the new one? Or can I just install 'over' the old one - so that all my settings remain? Thanks in advance! |

| Re: How to make my Office genuine? So I guess I need to backup my data file then, since I need to keep all my emails and contacts? There's no other way to install a new package and keep the old settings? J "Tom Willett" wrote: > Uninstall first. > "Ken A. | Re: How to make my Office genuine? A backup of data is allways wise, and should in any case be done on a regular basis, eg what happens when your drive fails? Uninstalling Office has no impact on data files, and no impact on the Outlook Profile "Ken A.
