RE: import groove 2007 calendar into outlook

If not Outlook is it possible to tie the Groove Calendar to either my
exchange calendar or to a calendar in a public folder?

This feature was in Groove 3.x and is unfortunately removed from Groove 2007

With the next release of TCM - Team Calendar Manager
(www.teamcalendarmanager.com), you will be able to merge Groove and Outlook
calendars. Stay tuned ;-)

Hope it helps...

This lack of feature will probably kill any groove initiative we were
thinking of. There is no desire to implement a third party add-on for a
feature that should be part of the product.

It is to bad microsoft neutered this product feature.

RE: import groove 2007 calendar into outlook

Grinstb,

Good point. The fact that this is a part of the Office System 2007 should
mean full interoperability with the rest of the suite, I guess that was not a
sensible concept and so the feature was dropped to force people to get yet
ANOTHER product to add to the already long list of products that you already
have.

The basic interoperability concept left Microsoft a whole now as they are
trying to push more products that getting them to work better with less
hassles and in a suite that it was meant to be.

Go figure, the office system comes with Outlook which is a personal
information manager and Groove is not allowed to interoperate with it, how
much more sad can that be?

It's basic design logics butt what can I say, being fed up is not worth it
anymore.
