Office 2007 Not Installing

Hello. I'm almost afraid to ask after some of the replies I've seen to other
questions, but here it goes anyways! I just bought a new computer that came
with Vista pre-loaded. I purchased Office Home and Student 2007 and when I
attempt install the green bar goes to full and then just sits there for hours
and hours. Why isn't Office installing, it shouldn't take this long right?
(Also, if any ideas when I might be able to play currently owned games please
let me know....those won't install at all either). I didn't have any problems
like this when XP came out, just turned on the computer and ran with it. I'm
really disheartened with Microsoft overall right now. Thanks in advance for
any guidance. *Please note that I am not an engineer, a computer whiz, and I
really don't feel like spell checking myself. Thanks again! ;)

RE: Office 2007 Not Installing

hey there... see under add / remove programs and look for any trial or
previous versions of office,

If not try deleting the LIS tool and deleting the local install source...
its simple..
Download LIS tool from... http://snipurl.com/lo89
