| Outlook 2000 and Exchange problem he setup is a little weird. XP Home edition, on office LAN, connecting to an Exchange Server. It is not on the domain of course, but it can see the exchange server fine. The only problem is the user gets prompted 20 times a day for username, password and domain name by Outlook 2000. I know the proper way to set this up is have XP prof on a domain, but they are being cheap, I wasn't the one that originally set this up. Do you know a trick to get the password saved so he doesn't get prompted every time. This has worked before, To troubleshoot another issue I had removed and re-setup his profile in Outlook. Now he gets prompted all the time, wasn't before. Any ideas would be great. |
