Restoration Unsuccessful

I used the "detect and repair" feature which should have a "warning" feature
on it for the seriousness of what it does to your system. It is asked me to
redo my Outlook account which I don't want to redo. So I went to System
Restore but none of my restore points work. Ugh.... can you help? I am a
boomer and only get simple explanations....

RE: Restoration Unsuccessful

Since I was not able to "restore" I went in and got a new Outlook account
which of course is devoid of all my past contacts. I know how to get to
Email in Controls and view my pst archived folders but I don't know how to
restore them to my new Outlook. (I've made this same mistake over a year ago
and someone here helped me find and restore a pst folder.) Thankyou for any
help.
