| Word printing with Office 97 problem Whenever I try to print a document from Word in Office 97, I get the following error message. Application error The instruction at 0x7c91339c regerenced memory at 0x00000000, the memory could not be read. Clickon OK to terminate the program Click on Cancel to debug the program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice. I do not have this problem with any other program and I can print the MS ..doc documents with Open Office org Have Windows XP SP3, Intel 1.8 proc, 512mb HP6300 MF printer Can anyone help please Teriel9      |

| Re: Word printing with Office 97 problem You might think about re-installing your printer driver. Your error is indicative of a corrupt driver. It might help to check with HP to see if there is an updated driver. It is always best to completely remove a driver before installing/reinstalling. I can print from Sage Accounts, Notepad, Webpages, Open Office, copy and paste in fact everyting I need but still not MS Word. In fact I removed the printer again using RevoUninstaller, a program which utilises the Application's own unistall facility, then checks both Registry and Disk for connected files and offers to remove them. Then I used the process you linked to "Spooler unistall" . I am delighted to advise that my Word program is now printing correctly.
