Issues with Copy/Paste

I do a lot of cut/copy/paste at work. And I mean a lot. Typically I have 6+
IE windows open, two ticketing systems, Excel, Word, and a couple of Citrix
connections -- and I am cut/copy/paste between them all.

I do not use the fancy office clipboard, just plain Crtl+X, Crtl+C and Crtl+V.

However, I have issues from time to time in which, in a random app,
something that I had previously cut or copied will be pasted instead of the
last thing. Go to another app, and the correct information pastes.

The only solution I have is to start closing windows until it works
correctly, but closing and reopening 10+ windows or rebooting is a serious
time waster.

Any suggestions on how to either make the clipboard remember only the last
item, or purge the old items easily?

Re: Issues with Copy/Paste

Actually since you have Office open you ARE using that "fancy office
clipboard" and sometimes that random app mucks up the clipboard. You may
view all the contents from one of the Office apps and purge it there.
