Demand for CD Key

I've been using Office 2003 since 2003 - no problems.

Today, on opening a Word or Excel file, I'm presented with a pop-up box
asking for my User name, Initials and Product Key.
The title of the box is MS Standard Edition, although the installed programs
are the professional edition

When submitted, and double checked for accuracy, the response is that the
product key is invalid. Likely because the product key I provided is from my
professional edition

No information on how to proceed. Closing the popup box closes Word.

Is there a MS phone number where I can speak to someone who can resolve this
quickly?

Re: Demand for CD Key

None that I'm aware of. I have the original CD's and case with the CD Key,
But over the past few years there may have been some Updates added. Does MS
have a free support line for problems like this?

Re: Demand for CD Key

Problem Solved. I loaded the Disk 1 of my MSO Professional, asked it to
install Word and Excel. It made a quick series of file updates and
pronounced the system as repaired. It was!
