Microsoft Office Picture Manager for Office 2003 Professional

This is an issue I have off and on. I edit pictures and one way I do it is
to copy the picture into a Microsoft Word Document to edit it and then I copy
and past the picture into Microsoft Office Picture Manager and it show up
blank "white" and when I even try t edit it using Paintbrush it is "Black".
This is an issue I get occasionally like right now. It does seem to go away
and works fine. I have only had this issue on my laptop which is a Toshiba
Satellite 2455-S305 with Windows XP Service Pack 2. I have defraged my PC as
well as restarted it/Turned it off and on. Any advice to correct this issue
will be helpful as I am not able to located this problem at google.com or
Microsoft's website

Then I would suggest you stop attempting to use a Word processor as a
graphics editor. There are numerous suitable image editors available
that work extremely well.
