| Office 2007-2003 license Q Hello World, I called up a rather large "IT Vendor" yesterday and asked for a quote on some new desktop PCs, and asked that they have Office 2003 on them to match the other 40+ machines in the office. The quote came back with Office 2007 specified, and when I asked, the salesperson claimed that all new PCs are being sold that way now, but that if we wanted to run Office 2003 instead, we would be covered by the 2007 license. This sort of made sense, I mean its a newer product, but it didnt make MS sense... So what is the verdict? If I have a license for 2007, can I use an older version instead, covered by that license? I dont really want to mix my 2003 & 2007 stuff just yet... What say ye? |
