One thing I appreciate about my Office 2003 is its license perimits my to
use it on my Desktop and my Laptop. Does anyone know if this will be true
for 2007?

If you have a disk based retail edition, or an OEM edition of a 2007 Microsoft Office software product then the license terms about
the number of devices you can use the software on (for a single user) are substantially the same as the were for Office 2003.

OEM editions are licensed to the machine they are provided on (or first activated on). Disk based retail editions are licensed to
an individual to use on one device and a 2nd portable device.

You can download and install a trial edition of Office 2007 from
http://trymicrosoftoffice.com
The license is displayed during setup and is also available from in the products as follows:

If you have a ribboned 2007 Office desktop application, you can view/print the license from within the application by using:

MS Office (logo) Button=>appOptions=>Resources=>[About]

and choose "View the Microsoft Software License Terms"

If you have a non-ribboned 2007 Office desktop application, you can view/print the license from within the application by using:

Help=>About

and choose "View the Microsoft Software License Terms"
