Sharepoint Designer 2007

Is there a trial version available? It doesn't seem to be listed in any of
the suites available for download now.

Re: Sharepoint Designer 2007

Hi Melissa,

At present there isn't a Sharepoint Designer 2007 trial edition.

After Office 2003 the MS Web authoring products split into a number of other products, with MS Office Frontpage giving way to two

MS Office Sharepoint Designer 2007
http://office.microsoft.com/sharepointdesigner
for working with MS Office Sharepoint websites

and

MS Expression Web (Designer)
http://microsoft.com/expression
for general web site design. MS Expression Web is a released product now and it does have a trial edition download available from
that site, along with the other three MS Expression design products.

At present there isn't a trial edition of MS Office Sharepoint Designer 2007. Its sibling, MS Expression Web (for 'regular' web
pages) does have a trial edition available

Re: Sharepoint Designer 2007

Do you know if SharePoint Designer 2007 is available for purchase? We are
trying to upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0 but we can't edit our pages.

Re: Sharepoint Designer 2007

The Office 2007 retail products aren't scheduled to be in stores until late January 2007. If you have a MS Volume License you can
obtain the product now.

MS Open volume licenses start with a 5 product [not all have to be Office] license purchase. http://microsoft.com/licenses

Re: Sharepoint Designer 2007

Both

I understand I can use Expressions for regular old FP sites which I still
have a few on on our intranet but mostly we've moved everyone to a SP site.

Re: Sharepoint Designer 2007

if you upgrade to WSS 3.0 you can't edit without Sharepoint Designer which is
not yet available unless you have volume licensing. Is this true?
