Headers and footer

How do I put the page number on one side of the header for odd pages and the
other side of the header on even pages.

And how do I delete the page numbers I put in at the bottom on all pages at
once. I have a terrible time deleting page numbers for the footers.

I keep losing the headers on even pages. They just disappear. And I have
to keep putting them back in.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Headers and footer

To continue what Bob I said, Once you get to the page setup in the Headers
and Footers section you must check Different odd and even radio button.
Once that is done, click OK. If you have only one page on the screen you
will not see the setup for the Even page header or footer. Click View,
Headers & footers and type the information for the Odd page header & footer.
The header "title" appearing should be "Odd page header" above the header
area and Odd page footer above the footer area.

Once you have a second page, click View, Header & footer again and scroll to
the second page to enter the Even page header and footer information (which
should appear above each area).

Should solve your problem, let us know.
