Desktop Search (Office 2007)

On my previous computer at work, I had a Desktop Search function that indexed
and allowed me to quickly search Outlook, my hard drive, network folders,
etc. (Long overdue, it allowed me to abandon Google Desktop.) I have a new
computer and can't seem to activate Desktop Search. Thoughts?

Re: Desktop Search (Office 2007)

if you have vista, windows search is built in, but with service pack 1 you
can download the update to upgrade it to windows search 4.0

if you have XP then you can download it and install it

To tell you the truth I hate indexing, but for some people with not too many
files it might be of use.
