| What will open a Lotus Approach (.apr) file-I don't have lotus? I have a Lotus Approach file (.apr) that I need to open, but I don't have the Lotus Approach software anymore. I do have office 2000. Is there anyway I can open (or import) this file? |

| Re: What will open a Lotus Approach (.apr) file-I don't have lotus? I used to use it and as I recall it used a standard DBF file for the data. MS Access should be able to open that/those files. However all reports, forms, sorts etc will not be there. You will need to recreate relationships reports and forms. Only Lotus Approach can open .APR files. No other database or Office- like application suite vendor ever bothered supporting it. You may be able to extract plain text from it, but it's unlikely you'll be able to extract numbers or dates from it without Lotus Approach. |
