Charting Feature in Microsoft Office

I loaded a laptop running Windows XP Professional with the latest version of
Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains program. That went fine. However when the
program was activated, the metrics (chart) section of the page displayed the
following error:
"Metrics are not available because Microsoft Office chart control s missing."

We are using MS Office standard 2007 and have the latest updates / patches
for it.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

Re: Charting Feature in Microsoft Office

Hi Vinny,

If you're using GP 9.0. you can get this if you haven't installed the MS Office *2003* web components from
http://microsoft.com/downloads (The legacy charting engine in Office 2007 differs from the new default chart engine).

You may want to also followup with the folks in the Great Plains discussiong group through the link below.
