SQL Server Your SQL Server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with ( Unknown package ID) Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.

The subject states the error. I am running Office 2007 Pro on Windows XP Pro
SP3. Auss Striker Extreme MB Core Duo Quad Core with 4 GB of ram in system.

I uninstalled Office completely and reinstalled. I still have the problem.
Hope someone can help with this.

Thanks in advance, Herman
