I have tried to verify the following bug-like behaviour but I have been
unable.
Create a new excel file. Check the "1904 date format".
Write the numbers: 1, 2, 3 into A-column, date format these cells, which
results in 1904-01-02, 1904-01-03, 1904-01-04.

Now finally make a graph (any) using these dates.

Heres the problem: When copying the entire sheet in the workbook the date
format automatically changes. It unchecks "1904 date format" !?

You have to manually go in and recheck this checkbox afterwards. ?
And after you have done this the chart doesn't update until you save, close
and reopen the workbook.

Please some light on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kristian,

I'm not clear on how 'Macintosh Date format' from your subject line comes into play. The 1904 calculation property is a per workbook
setting, if you close only the 1904 system workbook after pasting to a sheet in the 1900 workbook does the chart change in the copy
that is set to 1900 immediately?
